The success of Popeyes chicken sandwich is something one simply can’t argue. It not only took social media by storm, but nearly every media outlet was talking about it, even ones who don’t cover food. I can remember our local Popeyes with lines around the building for weeks after it came out, and I’m not ashamed to say I waited in that line…possibly more than once.
While the release of the original Cajun Flounder sandwich in 2021 didn’t make quite that amount of splash, it was still exciting for us new food fanatics, especially since we’re particularly fond of fish sandwiches. With it being the brands first ever fish sandwich, we didn’t waste any time trying it last year, and we’re excited to see it return for 2022!
There is a little bit of a catch with this years offering, in that it will now mimic the structure of their infamous chicken sandwich and come in both a “Classic” and “Spicy” variety.
